Books About Angels And Demons

Earlier this month, I watched Good Omens. I must say that I'm not a fan of good vs. evil tropes that show that good and evil aren't as black and white as we first think. I think angels vs. demons is the best example of this beloved trope. Good vs. bad, light vs. dark, angels vs. demons is the best example of this. You learn how to do it. There are some angels who don't seem to be very good. No, not all demons are bad. Is there some of the other in each one? Check out the books below and see what you think!

Books to Read if You Love The Angels vs. Demons Trope

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

After she goes to the Pandemonium Club in New York City as a 15-year-old, Clary Fray doesn't think she's going to see a murder, let alone one done by three teenagers with weird tattoos and weird weapons. There is nothing left of the body when it dies. People can't see the killers and there isn't even a smear of blood to show that a boy died. It's hard for people to call the police. So, was he even young? In this meeting, Clary meets the Shadowhunters, warriors born with angel blood who fight to rid the world of demons. This is her first time meeting them. It's not going to be her last time.

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

They are all bad. Since she has known anything, Elisabeth has always known that that is the case. Elisabeth was raised in one of Austermeer's Great Libraries as a foundling. She has grown up among the tools of sorcery, like magic grimoires that whisper on shelves and rattle under iron chains. If they are angry, they turn into grotesque monsters made of ink and leather. She wants to keep their power safe. There is then an act of sabotage that lets the library's most dangerous grimoire out. Because of the crime, Elizabeth is blamed. She is taken from her home and sent to the capital to face justice. Her only friend is her longtime enemy, the sorcerer Nathaniel Thorn. With no one else she can turn to, she finds herself caught up in a centuries-old conspiracy.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Nora Grey is responsible and smart, and she doesn't like to do things that aren't safe. Her first mistake was to fall in love with Patch. A lot of people don't like Patch. He has made many mistakes and has a history that isn't very nice. When he fell in love with Nora, it was the best thing he did in his life. Afterwards, Nora wants to stay away from Patch, but he always seems to be two steps ahead of her. He looks at her even when he isn't around. It doesn't matter if she's alone in her bedroom or not. She can still feel him. When her feelings can't be denied any longer, she finds out that she's in love with her fallen angel and it's against the law. There may be only one question they can answer for each other: How far are you willing to fall?

Slayer by Kiersten White

At the start of every generation, there's a Slayer... In this case, Nina and her twin sister, Artemis, are very different from the rest of the world. At the Watcher's Academy, it's hard to be who you are when you grow up there. It's not like most boarding schools. The teens at this school are trained to be guides for Slayers, girls who have supernatural strength and are able to fight the forces of darkness. But even though Nina's mother is a member of the Watcher's Council, Nina has never been a violent Watcher. Instead, she trusts her instincts to help people and becomes the school's doctor, making her own place at the school. Until the day Nina's life changes for the last time. Having her father die protecting Buffy, the famous and infamous Slayer, Nina is not only the new Chosen One, but also the last Slayer, ever, because Buffy died protecting Nina. Period.

He doesn't know whether she is real. he hopes she is. Audra is a sylph, which is a type of air elemental that lives in the sky. She walks on the wind, can read the wind's songs, and can even make it into a weapon with a few simple words. As a guardian, she is also Vane's guardian. She has vowed to protect Vane at all costs. So even if she dies. In the end, Audra and Vane have to help each other because the enemy who killed both of their families knows where they are. Because of the forbidden love that has grown between them, their biggest threat isn't from the warriors who want to kill them. Can say that Audra will be a little more open about her heroics than Aziraphale was in Good Omens.

She knows two things: Demons are real, and fear will protect her. Milla lives on her family's farm, and it's the only thing in the world that she knows about. To get to the village, she isn't allowed to go. She only has one friend in the whole world: her big brother, Niklas. When Milla sees a bright-eyed girl named Iris come to stay, she thinks that her loneliness might be over for the last time. It turns out that the village is cursed by a demon who takes girls at random, and the people there live in fear of who the demon will take next. Iris has a secret that she's not allowed to tell anyone. Now, it looks like the demon has found Iris and wants to eat her.

Angel Thieves by Kathi Appelt

It's an ocelot. Another word for "slave": A thief who is an angel. This is how Kathi Appelt connects stories from different times and places, all of which are linked by the bayou, an angel and the desire to be free, in her book. When Cade Curtis steals angels, he does it with the help of his friends For being born out of wedlock, his mother's family did not want him. He moved with his father to an apartment above an antique shop. This is where they lived for a few years. Marble angels that were stolen from graveyards are the only thing that the owner, Mrs. Walker, wants in return. It turns out there's one angel they'd never have to steal again. It was made by a slave, and it has one hand open and another closed. If Cade could find it, it would be great. Zorra, a young ocelot, longs for the bayou to rush by. Before Zorra, a slave named Achsah kept an eye on the same bayou with her two young children. After the death of her master, Achsah is free, but she won't be happy if her daughters aren't, too. Find the church with an angel who has one hand open and the other closed.
