11 Best Books About Change Update 05/2022

Books About Change

I don’t really believe in the “New Year, New Me” thing. Between December 31 and January 1, nothing changed. Turning the page in these books about change and getting a new sense of excitement can help you get excited again. Real change for me is when I set new goals for myself and believe they will make my life better. Work must be done to make that change happen.

These books about change are great for people who need a little help through life’s changes as we head into 2022. It’s important to know these books aren’t going to change your life, but they can help you deal with changes in your life, whether it’s inspiration to start a project or practical advice to get over obstacles.

Everyone says that this is the year they will reach their goal. The truth is that it takes a lot of time and effort to reach your goals. There are times when we have a lot of problems that we had last year, as well as new ones. At least set a goal to start the process of change even if it takes a long time. The new year is the best time to do this.

How do I know this? Because I’ve achieved as many goals as I’ve forgotten, or given up on. My biggest obstacle was me. Many of these books are about inspiration, motivation, and mindset, but each one really focuses on what can keep you from getting to the end.

Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon

I read Kleon’s books while I was in college, and I was impressed by how practical he was when it came to coming up with ideas. In spite of the fact that I don’t work in a studio, I still value creativity and try to incorporate it into my daily life. Kleon’s practical advice on how to copy and take inspiration from your favorite artists was very helpful to me! Grit by Angela Duckworth

Grit by Angela Duckworth

I’ve written about Grit in the past, because it’s such a good book about what it takes to be a winner. People who read Duckwork will learn that talent isn’t the most important thing for them to be successful, but grit is. For people who have stopped projects in the past, but want to finish something in 2022, this book will help them understand the value of grit. I know you have it.

The Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman

You don’t usually see a book about change like this one, but I wanted to include a poetry book because poems are the best way to give people inspiration. Gorman’s first poem, “The Hill We Climb,” was a big hit with the whole country when she read it in January 2021. I think it’s a great poem because it shows how we deal with the problems that life throws our way. Check out this poem if you’ve been feeling down and out because of the pandemic. It will give you a little hope.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

The book I like best is Big Magic because it’s both inspirational and practical at the same time. Gilbert takes readers on a journey through the mysterious world of inspiration and encourages them to be curious. In Gilbert’s book, he tells you where to look for the “strange jewels” that are hidden inside of you. if you know you can do something unique but need help finding the inspiration to do it. This is a great book for you!

You might not think empathy is important in a world where money is the most important thing, but it can be the key to your own personal growth. Lamott’s book is a good place to start for anyone who wants to tell their own story. She shows you how to get over writer’s block, how to write dialogue, and how to start over when you don’t know where to start. More than that, she’ll show you how to be a writer and make your life into art. People who need practical and empathetic advice on how to deal with creative problems should read this book. Even if you’re not writing a huge book, this book is still great.

Make Your Bed by William H. McRaven

Not only did I believe McRaven, but I also make my bed every morning as a matter of course now. Because you made your bed, you’ve already done the first thing of the day and are ready to do all the other small things that come your way, which will lead to some real productivity. This is what he meant. As McRaven says, “If you need a little tough love to get your 2022 goals moving, this is the book for you.”
