If you want to give your child a fun book for Easter, look for a bunny book. In this list, there are 29 of the best kids’ books about bunnies.

In our family, there are a lot of books about bunnies on our book shelf because I am a mom of four. A lot more is added to the number when we take into account our foster daughters’ love of bunnies.

So when they came to live with us, they were obsessed with bunnies because it was right before Easter. This is what my husband did while he was at the store. He went down the Easter aisle and grabbed each of our little girls a super soft plush bunny.

When our girls saw those bunnies, they fell in love with them right away. They have been in love with bunnies ever since!

Since we have two bunny fanatics in our home now, it’s safe to say we have more bunny books than anyone else we know.

This book is by Ole Risom and illustrated by Richard Scarry. I’m a Bunny This is my favorite book for kids ages 3 and under!

This book is one of our favorite bunny books because it has so many vivid pictures. The movie has no real story line, but it’s still fun to watch a bunny go through each season. A lot of us love this book because we enjoy the beautiful pictures and laugh at the silly things that the bunny likes to do.

Muncha! Muncha! Muncha!

This is one of our favorite books by Candace Fleming. It’s called Muncha! Muncha! Muncha! My favorite book for kids 4 and up is this one. It’s my favorite.

One night, three rabbits keep getting into Mr. McGreely’s garden even though he doesn’t let them in. Every day, he wakes up and finds that they have eaten his vegetable plants. He builds something new to keep them out. You and your kids will love this story. It’s so cute that your kids will laugh.

Tawny Scrawny Lion.

In this painting, Kathryn Jackson is the artist who did Tenggren’s Tawny Scrawny Lion, and she did it. This book is very close to my heart because I read it with my parents when I was little. The story is about a lion who doesn’t seem to get enough to eat until he meets a smart rabbit who makes carrot stew.

We love to read it again and again. If you want to add a classic story to your child’s book shelf, this is a great choice! It’s a favorite in our house.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit

They wrote the story of Peter Rabbit, which is called The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. When a little bunny doesn’t listen to his mother, he sneaks into Mr. McGregor’s garden, even though his mother told him not to. In no time at all, he finds himself in trouble and regrets not listening to his mother.

In this book, Patsy Scarry wrote it and Richard Scarry did the art for it. This cute book tells the story of a bunny family imagining what their baby bunny will be when he grows up in this sweet book.

They come up with jobs for the bunny. The little rabbit already knows what he wants to be. He tells us at the end of the story. This is a great book for your child to learn about different jobs.

The Little Rabbit

The Little Rabbit, written by Judy Dunn and illustrated by Phoebe Dunn, is a great book. It’s very pretty. There are real pictures of the cute little bunnies that my kids like to look at, and they love them. In this story, there’s a little girl who owns a rabbit and watches it grow into a mother and have babies. How to care for a bunny and its babies is shown in a great way in this book.

Snowy Valentine

One of David Petersen’s books, “Snowy Valentine,” is about a bunny who wants to give his wife a gift on Valentine’s Day. He is looking for something unique to give her. For Valentine’s Day, he goes all over his neighborhood and talks to other animals about what he should get his girlfriend for the holiday.

Finally, when he looks back on the journey he’s made, he doesn’t know that he’s given his sweetheart the best gift ever. His footprints have made a heart for his sweetheart to enjoy.

For a Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown, the main character goes on an adventure to find somewhere to call home, and it’s very cute! He looks into where different animals live and what kind of home is best for a bunny. 🙂 This is a great book with a lot of repetition that little kids will love, too.


There are a lot of different types of bunnies in Richard Scarry’s Bunnies. From real rabbits to chocolate rabbits, this book has everything you could think of in it.

I make my kids laugh when they see the bunnies dressed up to be in stories. It’s a great book that kids will enjoy.

One of Natasha Wing’s books is called The Night Before Easter. In this book, the “Twas the night before Christmas” rhyme is changed to say, “Twas the night before Easter.” During the night before Easter, things happen that are fun to read about, like how the Easter bunny does his job.

It’s a great picture book for kids to read before bed because it has a good rhythm and is easy to understand.
