Drawing and coloring flowers has been going on for a long time, so flower and garden coloring books are the most popular. The best ones are in the list below.
Fairy Tales (Original Title Sagolikt) by Emelie Oberg
For a long time, I’ve been eyeing this Swedish artist book. It’s called “Fairy Tales” in English. It looks like two of my favorite Swedish illustrators, Hanna Karlzon and Maria Trolle, both of whom I love.
World of Flowers: A Coloring Book and Floral Adventure by Johanna Basford
Her fans are going to love her new coloring book, “World of Flowers.” To see what kind of flower-filled designs she has made, look at the reviews on Amazon. When I first saw “Secret Garden,” I thought this book would be too similar. But if you know Johanna’s background, you know that she has her grandfather’s botanical books, so she has a lot of other flower ideas as well. In this book, some American colorists say that the binding in this book isn’t very good, but it’s most likely that the publisher has fixed those problems. You could buy the UK edition of the book from Book Depository, which gives you free shipping every day. You could also buy the book there.
Flower Haiku Coloring Book
I got this beautiful coloring book from the artist and was amazed. There’s a lot of good paper in this book. The spiral binding makes it easy to lay the pages down flat. Each flower has a unique haiku that will make the colorist smile. On Etsy, Amazon, and on Ellie Marks’s Etsy store, you can buy this book. There’s even a print-at-home option for this book. Flower Haiku is based on 26 short haiku poems for each letter of the English alphabet. There are 26 framed poems for each letter. There is a flower with that letter in each poem. It’s beautiful.

Joyous Blooms to Color
I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful book by illustrator Eleri Fowler. It’s so beautiful!
It was so high-quality that I was amazed. I get a lot of books from artists and publishers to look at, but this one took the cake. It’s a lot of fun to color. Those two-page spreads can be colored on pages that actually fold flat so that you can do that. The images are beautiful, unique, and very well put together. They include not only beautiful flowers but also inspirational words. For the title page, I used white Uniball gel pens for the dots and extra details on the flowers for the first time when I colored them.
My Mother My Heart – A Joyful Book to Color
Her second book looks just as beautiful! This is a great way to say “thank you” to mom! Intricate, beautiful illustrations by illustrator Eleri Fowler show the joy and tenderness of a mother’s love in this coloring book. They range from flowers and birds to hearts and more. There are pages and pages of delicate pen-and-ink drawings that are waiting for you to bring them to life.
Coloring Book of Cards & Envelopes – Nature
Then, click here to buy Amazon. It’s a book store that sells books for the United States, the United Kingdom
I got two books from Nosy Crow Publishers that were illustrated by Rebecca Jones and I was so excited! Finally, something I can talk about with my friends and family about from my new addiction. This is the first thing I can talk about. Each page has a hole in it and is made of good card stock. The front pages of the book have two cards on each page, so you can color both sides of your note card. The back pages are for the envelope that you color and fold. On one side, you can color or leave it for your friend to do. You then fold the pages into envelopes like the instructions on the front cover tell you to do, and in the back, there are stickers to close the envelope. Address… mail and surprise the people who get your cards by hand-painting them. A few people have told me how excited they were to get something in the mail that wasn’t just a coloring book from Amazon. I’ve already finished two of them. In this video, I show you how it looks at the end.
Possibly my favorite coloring book of all time. Hanna Karlzon’s Dagdrommar aka DayDreams
Daydreams (Dagdrömmar) Coloring Book is for both new and long-time fans of coloring. It has 85 detailed images of flowers, bees, storybook homes, regal portraits, and more. This 96-page hardbound edition has a luxurious feel, which makes artists want to put their book on a coffee table or bookshelf.
This new book of Hanna Karlzon’s art is full of 85 illustrations of starry nights, fanciful gardens, underwater creatures, fantastic portraits, and more. Summer Nights is Hanna Karlzon’s newest creation, and it’s full of fun and fantasy. You can stay up late and watch the stars come out in this new world. This 96-page hardbound edition has a luxurious feel, which makes artists want to show off their work on their coffee table or bookshelf.
Floribunda – A Flower Coloring Book
In NYC, I found this beautiful botanical coloring book. I was so happy that my suitcase had enough space for it, because I didn’t want to wait another second to start coloring. When we talk about the PAPER, let’s do that, too! Thick and thick with pages that are easy to remove, this book is great for people who like to take pictures out to color and then put them on a wall or in a frame. These would make great art for your home or as a gift. It has 20 pages of illustrations, an introduction, and front and back images that show how to shade flowers if you aren’t sure how to do it. It is 10 by 13 inches and is bound together with glue. It has a colorable matte finish cover that can be changed. It has black and white pictures of plants. Not only have I become crazy for this book. Look at some excerpts from Amazon to get a better idea of what they have to offer. The best adult coloring book I’ve ever seen is this one. I have a lot of coloring books, but I only want to color in this one right now. ~ Tom “ This may be one of the most beautiful adult coloring books that I have found so far. Adult coloring books are very important to me even though I have a lot of them. I am very, very picky about what I buy. I think Ms. Duly’s book is truly beautiful. ~ Kantar” All of you marker people out there: We’re here for you. This book is for you. Copics, Spectrum Noir, Tombows, Sharpies, and whatever else you like to color with. Click here to order now. You can buy the book from Floribunda in the U.S., the UK, and Canada, or from the Book Depository in the U.K. and Canada.
Blomster Mandala Coloring Book aka Twilight Garden by Maria Trolle
If I had to choose, I think this book had the most pictures that I had colored in. Just like Maria Trolle’s drawings have a special magic to them, they are easy to figure out. I love this paper so much. If you’ve read Hanna Karlzon’s books, this paper is the same type of Swedish paper, as well as the bookbinding. I bought the Swedish edition from the Pen store. The same publisher that made Hanah’s books is also working with Maria Trolle, so I’m sure they’ll be great. For sure, you’ll need this one in your library.
