Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World
Some of my favorite books to read to my kids come from Anholt. Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl are both on this list, so it's no surprise. Kahlo painted the portrait of a little girl who was afraid, and this beautiful book tells the story of how she did that. It also shows some of Anholt's illustrations, and it shows some famous Kahlo pieces as well.
