7 Best Books About Society Update 05/2022

Different parts of society are addressed by each of them, but they all seem to have the same core ethics. They seem to have a unique personality that can’t be covered in one issue, but together they paint a picture of the thoughts of people who don’t fit in. They speak the same language: They don’t like the defilement that leads to huge power imbalances, they don’t like living without thinking about it, and they love freedom and truth.

Animal Farm – George Orwell

Animal Farm was written by George Orwell, who is known for writing about social justice and democratic socialism in his work. It was published in 1945, and it was written by Orwell. When you read this book, you’ll be drawn in because it’s written in very simple language and starts out like a story for little kids (after all, not many adult books are full of farm animal characters that can talk). But this book isn’t for kids. Orwell is very clear and almost heartbreakingly honest in how he shows and depicts the cycles of political injustice in his writing. How a revolution against the highest state of power turns into the very thing it was trying to get away from.

It looks like he shows how animals who are smarter, cleverer, and more clever tend to want to be in charge. As time goes on, the pure goals of the society change, become corrupt, and even become cruel. As absolute power corrupts the absolute, so does pure power. Despite how short and simple this book is, don’t be surprised if it takes you a long time to read because it can be so emotionally moving that your heart might need a lot of time to process the philosophies it talks about.

1984 – George Orwell

1984 was written in 1949. People live in a world where there is a government agency called “Big Brother” that is always watching them. They have lost their individuality, and they live in a world where there is a constant war and a government agency called “Big Brother.” They are always afraid that they will be found guilty of “thought crime.”

Orwell shows how the constant threat of doom and the constant state of “war” make people afraid, which makes them easier to control. It tells the story of one man, Winston Smith, and how he went from being a controlee to being a person who thinks for himself. When he starts to think for himself, he realizes that everything in the world is based on lies. It turns out that even though he tries very hard to keep his thoughts to himself, the story has a fateful and heartbreaking ending.

Doors Of Perception – Aldous Huxley

‘Doors of Perception is a non-fiction, philosophical essay that was written and then made into a book that was sold. In this book, author Aldous Huxley talks about what happened when he took psychedelic drugs like mescaline. It talks about how the mind changes when it takes psychedelic drugs that change how we see things. This isn’t all. He also talks about the nature of the mind and how one can start to understand the mind at a deeper level by watching it as they go through this experience. He talks about how mescaline made his mind more sensitive, open, and receptive. He calls the experience a “indispensable trip to the realm of theory.”

He talks about what a change in perception would mean and compares it to the way society usually works. He does this in an insightful way.

The Psychedelic Experience – Timothy Leary

It was written by a man named Timothy Leary. Leary was thought of as a guru of psychedelics in the early 1970s. He used to be a psychology teacher and writer at Harvard University, where he did some research on the therapeutic value of psychoactive drugs like psilocybin and LSD. Though he and his projects were officially discredited by Harvard University for “the lack of scientific rigor and failure to follow established research guidelines,” he went on to gain a huge following and the respect of many young people who tried and trusted his unconventional methods. This is what happened:

The Tibetan Book of the Dead is the main source for the Psychedelic Adventure guidebook. In this text, it talks about how Tibetan Buddhists used a lot of the same things to deal with and experience their own death as people who use psychoactive drugs.

The Bates Method For Better Eyesight Without Glasses – William Bates

The Bates Method For Better Eyesight Without Glasses is a book about how to improve your eyesight without wearing glasses. It talks about how to do exercises and other things to improve your eyesight without wearing glasses. A lot of doctors and people who aren’t sure about it think it’s crazy. This group of people is mostly made up of people who have tried the method and have been able to improve their eyesight without wearing glasses. Some of these people went on to become teachers of The Bates Method and spread it around the world.

It talks about how the habits of eyesight that most people have are more harmful than good (squinting when trying to see for example). To break these habits, we must first be aware of them. Theory: Most of it is about how to relax your eyes, because there are six muscles around the eye that move. Because squinting puts stress and pressure on the eyeball, its shape changes when you do it. This isn’t the best thing to do when you can’t see something clearly. It’s hard to see when the shape of the eyeball isn’t right. This means that the method focuses on relaxing to help the eyeball return to its natural shape and improve vision. This method was very difficult for the field of optometry, and it was even banned at one point.

The Dharma Bums – Jack Kerouac

As one of the main people who helped to start the Beat Generation, Jack Kerouac is a big name. The book, The Dharma Bums, tells the story of the author as he travels around the United States with only a well-packed backpack on his back and a young, hopeful spirit. It talks a lot about the ethics and philosophy of living in a normal, everyday way. For someone with a mind like the author, normal life seems like the most boring, uninteresting, and bogus thing he could ever imagine living in. He would rather deal with the difficulties of not having a certain place to live, no real income, and no security. This is what he talks about. The world is a reflection of the mind, and if the mind is not pure, then the world will be toxic.

In this picture, you can see how he went from not knowing what he was doing to being able to figure it out through meditation. They were a group of people who lived a freeloading lifestyle that was common among the Beatniks. This book was written during that time.

Walden – Henry David Thoreau

If you want to learn more about a lot of different things that affect the world, you should read this philosophical book. Author: The book is written over a near decade while the author stays away from society to think and try to learn more about humans, their lives, and their behavior. His writing of this book lets us see how he thinks deeply about a lot of different things. He talks about the economy, materialism, people, relationships, and more in this book, as well. It is a very thought provoking book that points out a lot of things that people don’t know and things that humans and society could do better.

Reflection and simple living in nature are encouraged by it. Isolating himself from modern society so he could think and reflect is what the author did to do this.
